FRENCH CUSTOMS: who is Corinne Cleostrate, the new head of DNRED

Holding a Masters degree in private law, Corinne Cléostrate began her career as inspector for the Customs Directorate of Bercy and later for the Bureau of Personnel Policy and the Directorate General of Customs and Indirect rights (1982-1994).

Being head of specialized investigations for Customs Investigations Directorate and of the National Directorate of Intelligence and of Customs Investigations in 1994-1995, she was appointed as political attache near the Embassy of France in Rome for two years, before being promoted to head of the Cabinet to the Director General of Customs and Indirect rights in 1997.

From Head of the Bureau « Information and Communication » (BIC) to the Directorate General of Customs and Indirect rights (DGDDI) to the Ministry of the budget between 2002 and 2008, Corinne Cléostrate then became regional director of the Intelligence Directorate Customs, for the National Directorate of Intelligence and customs investigations from 2008 to 2011. During the three years that followed (2011-2014), she has served as the Regional Director of customs and indirect rights to Roissy Travellers.
